1. Acceptance

By accessing or using Fragment Zero (the "Site") at https://fragmentzero.net, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Site. These Terms also apply to the associated YouTube channel and any other platforms operated under the Fragment Zero name.

2. Editorial nature and content disclaimer

Fragment Zero produces investigative documentary content. While we make reasonable efforts to verify facts and cite sources, the Site and the related YouTube videos are provided for informational and educational purposes. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, currency, or suitability of any information presented for any particular purpose.

Some content uses dramatised reconstruction, synthetic visuals, synthetic voiceover, and atmospheric framing for narrative effect. Where such elements appear, they are disclosed in the relevant video description. You should not rely on Fragment Zero as your sole source for any decision with material consequences (medical, legal, financial, security, or otherwise). Always corroborate with primary sources before acting.

Some episodes reference fictional case-file framing (e.g. classified document numbers, departmental codes, witness protocols). These are storytelling devices and do not represent real government documents or agencies unless explicitly cited from public records.

3. No security advice

Fragment Zero documents historical and ongoing cybersecurity incidents, vulnerabilities, and attacks. Nothing on this Site is professional security advice. If you operate critical systems, retain qualified security professionals. We are not responsible for any damages arising from action or inaction taken on the basis of our content.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law.
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, or impair the Site (DoS attempts, scraping at abusive rates, vulnerability scanning without prior authorisation).
• Submit content to the witness, cipher, or dead-drop forms that contains illegal material, harassment, doxxing, or threats.
• Misrepresent your identity in a way intended to defraud or harm another person.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Site beyond what is publicly served.
• Use automated systems to crawl or index the Site at rates that exceed reasonable use, or that ignore robots.txt.

We reserve the right to block IP addresses, terminate sessions, or remove submissions at our sole discretion when these terms are violated.

5. Intellectual property

All original text, video, audio, code, design elements, and case-file documents on this Site are © Fragment Zero unless otherwise indicated. You may quote brief excerpts under fair use / fair dealing, with attribution and a link back to the Site.

Some content incorporates third-party material under license or under the doctrine of fair use for documentary commentary. Where third-party material appears, attribution is provided where required. If you believe your copyright has been infringed, send a notice to copyright@fragmentzero.net with the information specified by the DMCA (17 U.S.C. § 512) or your local equivalent. We will investigate promptly.

You retain copyright in any voluntary submission (witness report, dead-drop content) but grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display, archive, and translate it on the Site for as long as it remains posted.

6. AI-generated content disclosure

Fragment Zero uses generative AI tools to produce thumbnail images, scene illustrations, and synthetic voiceover. Where AI-generated content depicts realistic-looking people or events, this is disclosed in the relevant video description. We do not present AI-generated content as photographic or video evidence. We do not synthesise the voice or likeness of any specific real, identifiable individual without their permission.

7. Third-party links and embeds

The Site may contain links to third-party websites and may embed third-party media (e.g. YouTube videos). We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of these external services. Visit them at your own risk.

If the Site contains affiliate links, we may receive a small commission if you purchase through them. Affiliate links are disclosed where they appear. The presence of an affiliate relationship does not influence editorial judgement.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The Site is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and availability. 9. Limitation of liability

Our total cumulative liability for any claim arising from or related to the Site shall not exceed €100.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Bulgaria, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Sofia, Bulgaria, except where mandatory consumer-protection law in your jurisdiction provides otherwise.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance.
