Editorial independence

Fragment Zero is an independent investigative documentary publication. It is operated by a single editorial team. It is not affiliated with any government agency, intelligence service, corporation, or political organisation. It does not accept payment in exchange for editorial coverage.

Sourcing standard

Every factual claim in a Fragment Zero case file is supported by a citable source: a public court record, a peer-reviewed publication, a government document, an on-the-record statement by a named primary source, or a corroborated investigative report by a major established outlet. We do not knowingly use anonymous-source claims as the foundation for any specific factual assertion. Bibliographies for each episode are published in the YouTube description and, where space permits, on the corresponding archive page.

AI assistance disclosure

Fragment Zero uses artificial intelligence in the production pipeline. Specifically:

Where archival footage, news clips, or photographs from primary sources are used, they are sourced from the Internet Archive, Wikimedia Commons, the Library of Congress, or other public repositories under appropriate licence. Provenance is preserved for review on request.

Corrections

If you identify a factual error in any Fragment Zero case file, please report it via /contact. Substantive corrections are issued visibly within forty-eight hours; non-substantive corrections are issued within seven days. The original assertion is preserved in the correction notice; we do not silently rewrite published material.

Not legal, financial, or medical advice

Fragment Zero is a journalism publication. Case files describe documented events. They do not constitute legal advice, financial advice, medical advice, or professional consultation of any kind. Readers acting on information presented should independently verify against primary sources and consult appropriate professionals.

Reuse

Fragment Zero supports fair-use citation, classroom use, and journalistic reuse of its case files. Direct republication without attribution is not permitted. For licensing inquiries, contact the editorial team.
